This is a short article written by our Chairman, Ludwig Heuse, reminding us here of the origins of the famous Castle Pie because in recent years a lot of us have seen, and eaten, several variations on the theme of this pie at the Society’s Annual General Meetings. The publication of this article is therefore no coincidence but acts a trailer to whet your appetites for this year’s event that takes place in Paris between 18th – 20th October.
